1. The Magna Carta was created by a few English barrens to create a system of justice because the monarchs were ruling England in an unfair way. It contributed to the growth of the Constitutional government by sEtting laws such as limiting absoloute power, granting people rights, and making it illegal to punish without due process as well as to arbitrarily seize money and property. That led to the making of the English Bill of Rights, which helped shape the United States Constitution.

The Magna Carta was proposed to change the way of the government. It contributed to the growth of the Constitutional Government by it protected basic rights. 1. The Magna Carta was created to limit the powers of the monarch and preserving basic legal rights for free men in England. It was created after a rebellion in 1215 against the King John of England.The monarch he ruled angered the people under his government. The King was forced to meet with the people on June 15th 1215. They proposed the Magna Carta which is similar to the U.S. Bill of Rights.

1)The Magna Carta was created in 1215 when weary of tyranny; several English Barons took matters into their own hands at Runnymede. Up to this point the ruthless and greedy monarchs had rule the country in a punishing fashion. It contributed to the growth of Constitutional Government by limiting absolute power (it limited the monarch’s power), made it illegal to punish without due process and seize arbitrarily size money or property. It also granted people right. After the Magna Carta the parliament gained more power and other documents followed which limited the monarch’s power, such as the Petition of Rights and the English Bill of Rights.

It helped everyone for equality. It refuted a kings "divine rights" to absolute power, monarchs were subject to follow the laws equally as the people did, and they were now equally responsible for their crimes

The petition of rights refuted the idea of the divine right of the king to have absolute power, and made the Monarchy and the people have the same laws. And the English bill of rights took away alot of the power the king had left, and gave people the right to a fair trial.

The petition of rights was another milestone in the development of democracy. It ended a kings divine right of absolute power and were equally responsible for following laws and consequences as citizens were. The Parliament created the English Bill of Rights in 1689. William and mary of orange were required to sign the bill of rights as a condition of their succession as monarchs. In the English Bill of Rights monarchs are not allowed to levy taxes, command an army and abolish laws without consulting the Parliament. This also granted citizens the right to petition the king.
